5`ANNOUNCEMENTS OF A GENERAL NATURE
CURRENT EVENTS- Meets Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. and evenings at 7:30 p.m. at the Meeting House. A leader selects two or three topics for discussion of national and international current happenings.
THE H.V. THEATRE GUILD- Holds monologue and play reading sessions each month All Villagers are invited to read or enjoy listening to the reading of monologues. The only restriction is that it not exceed ten minutes. You may choose something by a well-known author, reading your experiences on a vacation, tales about your children during their growing years or something relating to the time of year.
CONCERT SOCIETY - Provides classical music in Sarah Cooke Hall. At the beginning of the season purchase subscriptions for the series as well as individual tickets on a limited basis.
THE JOY OF SINGING - The last Thursday in the month at 3:00 p.m. Villagers gather to sing for the joy of singing. Song sheets and piano accompaniment are provided.
